Bangkok, capital of the Kingdom of Thailand, with a population of over 8 million is one of the most visited cities in South East Asia. Bangkok has loads of children’s activities both indoor and outdoor, though this Thai metropolis is not designated for peaceful strolls with a buggy. The quality of footpaths is very poor, because of which it is recommended to use a baby carrier. It is possible to find activities of all types, for children of all ages, however attractions are very crowded and the public transport is not baby friendly at all.

Bangkok offers entertainment venues for children to learn and play, exciting theme parks and outdoor attractions as well as indoor games arcades. You could easily think that it is designated mainly for older children (honestly, adults will have the most fun here), but there are also a few attractions and many playgrounds for small babies.

Firstly, during the high season (Nov-Mar), spend time on the beach, get the right play gear and enjoy the warmth and the sun. For indoor fun, visit the Kidzania Center, the Bounce Center or the Funarium, where especially younger children will have much entertainment. Imaginia Playland at the Emporium mall or Kidzoona at Gateway mall are places to go if you are visiting in the unpleasant monsoon period. Otherwise spend a half day at Safari world, the local zoo, or those who don´t like zoo´s, have some water fun at the Fantasia lagoon or the Siam Park City.

For older kids there is the famous Children's Discovery Museum, the Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World, the Art in Paradise 3D or the Dinosaur Planet with many educational activities or, surprisingly, if you are fan of winter, visit one of many ice skating stadiums or the Snow town at Gateway Ekkamai. And last but not least, there is the famous Dream World, where we are sure both parents and kids will have quite a lot of fun.
