Hanoi is as flat as a city can can be, however it is not an ideal city for enjoyable walks with your family. We recommend spending some time in the Ho Tay Water park designed for the youngest ones or the Vinpearl Land Water Park. The Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre is very famous but like the Hanoi Central Circus or the Ionah Show, it is designed for kids over 3 years. Like other big Vietnamese cities, it is very overcrowded, with motorcycles everywhere and devastated sidewalks, thus making it difficult to walk around with a buggy.

All taxis, regardless of the company are clean, the cars being Japanese brands, prices being very low in comparison to European standards. Since the locals transport children on their motorcycles it can be tricky to find a taxi with a child seat though
