La Plagne is a large ski resort that together with Les Arcs creates the large ski area Paradiski, located in the French Alps near the French town of Albertville.
La Plagne offers plenty of fun and relaxation after skiing, such as the heated outdoor pool at Plagne Bellecôt, indoor tennis courts, shooting ranges, countless bars, restaurants and clubs. In winter, the Olympic bobsleigh track and artificial climbing walls are open to the public.
Kids will love winter tobogan areas, snow kindergarten, Ski Garden - ski school Piu Piu and sledging on ski bobs. Children’s sports competetions are at the place Dau Stadium. In addition to winter activities, you can enjoy biking and hiking during Summer and white water sports all year round. Check out the Espace Paradiso in Montchavin-les Coches, the Magic Pool in Plagne Belecote or the swimming pool in Champagny-en-Vanoise.
The inner village bus shuttle network is for free. Easiest way to get there is by car either from the French side (Grenoble, Albertville) or via Italy. If you are flying in, use the Geneva airport (Switzerland) or Grenoble airport (France). Then you can either book a transfer (from Geneva) or use the local Bus service from Grenoble to Aime and then from Aime to La Plagne.
