Pisa, a small town in Italy’s Tuscany region, is famous for its major attraction, the Leaning Tower. The city can be explored quite easily with a stroller; however, the historical sights are not baby friendly at all and it is often required to leave the stroller outside and use the baby carrier (so we recommend to bring one with you).

The Leaning Tower, same as most main sights in Pisa, can be visited with children 8 years and older. After a whole day of sightseeing, Orto Botanico di Pisa or Cittadella Nuova gardens (Giardino Scotto - with new playground) offer a place of relaxation for parents and children alike.

If you are coming to Italy through one of the major cities like Florence or Milan, we recommend to rent a car or take a train to Pisa. International airport is located south of the city, around 2km from the main train station.
