Wellington

Wellington is the capital city and second most populous urban area of New Zealand, with 405,000 residents. It is at the south-western tip of the North Island, between Cook Strait and the Rimutaka Range. Wellington is the major population centre of the southern North Island and is the administrative centre of the Wellington Region, which also includes the Kapiti Coast and Wairarapa. It is the world's windiest city, with an average wind speed of over 26 km/h, and the world's southernmost capital of a sovereign state.

You can, for example, visit many national parks here like Staglands Wildlife Reserve and Cafe which is located in the Akatarawa Valley near Upper Hutt, Wellington. Here you can feed and freely interact with wildlife with highlights including native & exotic walk-through bird aviaries, a secret garden, the trout and eel pool, the deer park, forest wetlands, the stables, the old bush settlement, and so much more!

Or if you want to be more active you can go to Flip City. Flip City is a purpose driven 973 m2 industrial building full of interconnected trampolines from the floor to the walls! Kids love bouncing (and I'm pretty sure so do you Mum & Dad)! So why not come on down to Flip City and join one of our general sessions that start every half hour during weekdays and on the hour every weekend! 'Coffee and kids' sessions run every Tuesday & Thursday, 10 am – 12 noon and provide free entry for parents & caregivers and costs children only $10.

Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf is a great entertaining family adventure, that Mum, Dad and the kids will love! Based on a pirate theme, this lovely picturesque location and the fabulously landscaped grounds will captivate the imagination of both young and old alike. Players have the opportunity to putt over a pirate ship, past cascading waterfalls, through the haunted treasure cave and past shark infested waters!
