Hofburg is former imperial palace, home of the Habsburg royal family. Built of different tracts there are also two adjacent gardens (People’s garden and Palace garden). Nowadays it is possible to visit few different exhibits, Sisi museum, Imperial apartments or Silver collection. All exhibits are not baby friendly as you have to keep your baby/toddler with you all the time and running around is definitely not appreciated.

It's not allowed to make any pictures inside of the palace. The palace itself is barrier-free, with ramps and lifts and children below 6 years are for free. Other tickets price depends on the tour you select.
The Hofburg lies at the centre of Vienna and can best be reached by underground or other public transport. The entrance to the museums is directly below the great copper dome called the Michaelerkuppel, reached via the Michaelertor, the gate on the north-eastern side of the palace on Michaelerplatz.
Get there by Underground - U3 (orange), at Herrengasse, tram - 1, 2, D and 71, at Burgring or bus - lines 1A and 2A
