One of the best ways to enter the park is from near the National Theatre, opposite Banyan Tree Hotel. From the parking lot, start walking up the hill, turning right after the control gate towards a small pond; then continue upstream until you reach stairs to climbing N Tower (follow the signs).
After visiting the Tower, you can exit by following the same trail back or by heading towards the Hyatt Hotel and then to the Itaewon. On your way to the Itaewon, you will reach a wooden platform with amazing views of the N Tower and the city. Don’t miss the photo opportunities here! There are plenty of them here! You can end your hike at the foot of the hill, near the Hyatt Hotel and stroll through the nice botanical gardens.
The opening hours of Namsan Park are from 10:00 to 18:00 in summer and from 10:00 to 17:00 in winter.
