There are two access points to the falls on the Rhine river, largest plain waterfalls in Europe. First from the northern bank with Schlössli Wörth, Neuhausen am Rheinfall/Schaffhausen. Strollers have a separate entrance following a lift that will take you down to the Rhine Falls basin and to the boat landing. The Southern bank with Schloss Laufen, Dachsen/Zurich is also easily accessible by car and much more convenient for a nice walk. You can go to the panorama path using the elevator but there is no access to the Rhine Falls basin and to the boat landing without climbing couple steps. Rhine falls are located 30 minutes by car from Zurich airport and are fun to visit rather with older children.
