Tulum archeological site is one of the most important and visited in Mexico. Easily doable in one day trip with Coba, Tulum represents probably the most compact Mayan site in the Yucatan. Although beautiful place for family holidays with sparking see through sea and white sand, you won't enjoy the site carrying your buggy around all the time. The site itself is covered either by sand or grass and here and there it is necessary to climb couple steps for better view. The pictoresque beach is accessible only through stairs, so we recommend to bring a swim suit, sun screan and to take the baby carrier with you instead of the buggy. Best access to the village and the archeological site is either by rented car, taxi or by local bus, that took us there from Playa Carmen in about 1 hour. The tickets are for 5USD per person, though babies should be for free. Find more information here: http://www.tulum.com/information/
