Taroko National Park Headquarters

Taroko Gorge is unique National park located in east central Taiwan. Gorge itself was created by Liwu River and some parts are really impressive. You can enter the park either from inland or from the coast - this is much easier. Experienced drivers may continue from the park to central mountains and to the Sun Moon Lake - you will need to climb to 3200 meters and expect good 4 hours drive. In the park, you can visit many places, but with babies, there are only few really good ones. Tunnel of Nine Turns is currently (2018) opened only in short sections. What we can recommend to visit is:

• Buluowan - good place to rest


• Swallow Grotto - short walk


• Eternal Spring Shrine


• Tianxiang - there is an information center, shop and some restaurants.
