As any other fortress, Alcazaba is not on flat area but prepare to hike to get the best view on the vibrant city below you. Stroller is not recommended....

Adult admission is €3.50 or €5.50 if you buy a combo Alcazaba-Gibralfaro ticket. Free admission on Sunday after 2pm. By public transport it’s best to take line 4, 14, 32-35 to Paseo del Parque station and then it’s 100 meters walk to the entry to the Roman theatre but together with all other historical sites, it is easily reached by foot. The Roman theatre is located right next to Alcazaba and you can enter from Paseo Don Juan Temboury.
