Sentosa resort island is a perfect place to spend time with your children, no matter their age. You can choose between visiting the most popular attractions, like the Universal studios or the Aquarium or you can just relax on the 2km long Siloso beach, enjoying the sun. It's very convenient to move around Sentosa by foot. Being slightly hilly is not an obstacle, there are lifts or escalators everywhere.
Although lying on the suburb of the city, getting to the island is very convenient. From using the causeway, bus, uber or taxi, the most convenient public transport is the Sentosa express monorail leaving from the Maple tree mall where the Circle and North East lines end. You may also use a cable car from Singapore's mainland Mount Faber to Imbiah lookout or the intra island cable car between the beach and the Merlion statue.
The entrance to Sentosa is free. When using the public transport, you need to get an extra ticket as the usual SMRT ticket doesn't apply on the train. The only trouble while arriving to Sentosa by the train is to find the changing rooms. We recommend to change your baby in the Maple tree mall before departing to the island.
What to see: Universal studios, Marine life park (waterpark and aquarium), Madame Tussaud museum, Tiger sky tower, Fort Siloso, Megazip adventure park, Kidzania Singapore indoor park or Siloso beach area. There are two golf clubs on the island, 14 hotels and many shopping and dining areas.
