Bit further away from the city centre, across the , she sits on a rock. Still you will need to push to see her. The little Mermaid (Den Lille Havfrue). You can get almost right to the statue by car or by bus (which is greatly used by travel agencies) and the local “Hop on, Hop off” bus has its stop there too. Much more convenient is to stroll from the city centre through Kastellet and its park. The promenade to Little Mermaid is well treated, just be aware that if you want to make a picture of yourself and the mermaid, you would have to jump over few rocks, which can be pretty difficult and dangerous (if you have your baby in your arms on top of that). There are no facilities nearby the statue. You’ll find closest public restrooms including baby changing room along the sea side after cca 600m.
