The building was designed by Sir Norman Foster and is located alongside the Birmingham Canal Navigations Main Line Canal by Old Turn Junction and opposite the Barclaycard Arena (Once known as the National Indoor Arena).
Accessing the Centre is easy, either by train (Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill stations - follow walking signs for the International Convention Centre and the Barclaycard Arena) or by car (car park is located a three minute walk away in the Arena Birmingham South).
The Sea Life is buggy friendly with disabled access, toilets and baby changing rooms. This aquarium is fully buggy accessible however there is no cloakroom facilities for you to be able to store belongings, buggies or pushchairs on site. Children under 3 years are for free.
